Due Date
Today was the day our beautiful daughter, Alethea, was to be born. Many people were praying for us today and I was hoping I would make it. God is so good to us. He blessed our day. We spent time together as a family remembering and celebrating her life and death. This morning we wrote letters and/or drew pictures to Alethea. It was a special time full of love and tears as we read them to each other. We then got some beautiful pink and purple balloons and released them at her grave. The kids really enjoyed that. The rest of the day was filled with fun playing at the creative discovery museum. We went to a place that the kids enjoy and also a place that she would have loved to go and visit. Each year on her birthday we are going to try and do the same thing with letters, balloons, and visit a place Alethea would have enjoyed.
This is Alethea's temporary marker. We are waiting for her permanent headstone to be placed on her grave.
